QUO Loves NYC, and in this post-Valentine concert we were joined by Artistic Director Julie Debordes’ husband, the extraordinary trumpeter Joe Burgstaller. The concert also included the return of former Artistic Director Nolan Dresden, who conducted the Eliot Carter Elegy for Strings, and Darcy Leon, winner of QUO’s annual concerto competition, who performed the Villa-Lobos Ciranda das Sete Notas.
