Join us for our Pride Gala: Doubtless Magick

TONIGHT AT 8: Tickets are no longer available online but a limited number will be available at the door.

On the eve of QUO’s quinceañera, the orchestra premieres an original work: Associate Conductor Derek Weagle’s Doubtless Magick. Featuring “riveting” (Opera News) countertenor Jordan Rutter-Covatto, the work takes listeners on a grand journey to the divine origins of queerness and back home to Weagle’s love for their queer identity and family. The orchestra charms with magical selections from Handel, Saint-Saëns, and 12th-century queer mystic Hildegard of Bingen. From the big screen, QUO performs a suite from Joe Hisaishi’s score for My Neighbor Totoro.

The Church of the Holy Apostles is handicap-accessible.
