Join us for our 2018 GayLa!
TONIGHT: Tickets are no longer available online but may be purchased at the door.
Kick off Pride Week with QUO's annual GayLa concert. Our GayLa is a festive evening: the music is a little less serious, champagne will be flowing, and we'll be kicking into gear for Pride!
We are thrilled that our GayLa this year will be hosted by cabaret artist Molly Pope. In addition to hosting, Molly will join the orchestra for a few selections. We'll also continue to feature women composers on this concert, and we'll throw in a surprise or two. The program includes:
- Gioachino Rossini: Overture to La Gazza Ladra
- Joan Tower: Sixth Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman (dedicated to the intrepid Hillary)
- Elizabeth Lain: Blood Moon
- Mitch Leigh: Selections from Man of LaMancha
- Jerry Herman: The Best of Times is Now (with Molly Pope)
- Lorde: Royals (with Molly Pope)
- and more…
Tickets are $35, but if you purchase in advance you can get a $5 discount. Student/Senior tickets are $25.
Did we mention champagne? Buy a VIP ticket for $55 and enjoy an open bar all night!
Doors open at 7:15. Unlike our usual concerts, there is no pre-concert talk, but plan to stay after the concert and continue the fun with QUO members.
ALL TICKETS WILL BE HELD AT THE DOOR.
